They spilled over her eyes and ran down her face. Sansa could no longer hold back the tears she had managed to keep at bay all day. “Tonight you are my whore, and nothing more” Joffrey spat in her face. He got on top of Sansa pinning her down a look of pure loathing rested in his glaring eyes. She lay on the bed looking up at the ceiling, refusing to look upon the face of her husband. Sansa could feel her heart rate rising from fear. Still cheering they left them going back to the hall for more wine and food. Sansa and Joffrey where both placed down on there bed by the guests. Sansa knew this was not her fathers fault but did not have it in her to give him a smile, she turned back looking forward to where her doom awaited her. He looked up at his daughter with a look asking her for forgiveness. She looked behind her as she was carried away her father was standing there by himself. Sansa would now be living in Joffrey’s room with him. The guests cheered as they carried the two newly weds to there bed chamber. The wedding guests lifted the both of them, up into the air, and carried them away. They both knew what was to come now and before they even had a chance to think about it. The thought of spending the rest of her life with this man, made Sansa feel like she was going throw up.įinally the song had ended and Sansa let go of her husbands shoulder. Joffrey took the anger of the marriage out on Sansa like it was her fault. Her cheek was red and stung as tears flowed from her eyes. “You filthy whore” He had slapped her hard across her face. Joffrey had visited her that night when she was in bed. Sansa held back the tears as the arrangements for the wedding began immediately. “You’re a women now Sansa and ready for my son” She looked down at the mess on Sansa’s bed with a twisted smile upon her beautiful face. Unfortunately her maid had spotted it and before she could even say a word, she ran off to tell Joffrey’s mother, the Queen.Ĭersei Lannister had come running to Sansa’s bedchamber immediately after hearing. Her heart raced like mad and she had tried her best to clean the mess up before anyone would see. She remembered the horrid morning only months ago, that she had awoken to the red stain under her over her white sheets. How badly Sansa wished she never got her blood now. Both Joffrey and herself would be carried of to their bed, where they would spend their first night together and be expected to make an heir. Sansa wished the song would never end, because she knew what was to come next. It was not before long that more people joined them on the dance floor. If only he knew, he would probably grab her right here and now and take her back to the safety of Winterfell. He was unaware of how horribly Joffrey treated his daughter. He did not know what happened behind closed doors to his daughter. Eddard Stark wanted the best for his family and he knew no matter how sad Sansa was about this marriage at least she would be safe. He feared for what would come of her life now, but knew at least she would never be cold, living on the streets and hungry. He had a look of great regret on his aging face. Sansa looked over Joffrey’s shoulder at her father.
He knew bedding her tonight after the wedding celebration would be a lot easier that she was attractive.Īll eyes were on the two on the dance floor. Joffrey looked into Sansa's eyes, although he wished he never had to be married, he was at least glad she was somewhat attractive. He too did not seem to like this arranged marriage thing either, but he was going to be king one day, and he would need a Queen from a high up family by his side.
"You look beautiful my Lady Stark" He told her, pulling her roughly to him by her waist. Sansa bit her lip and took Joffrey’s outstretched arm as he led her to the dance floor. She knew though she could not, to complain and beg would bring great shame upon her family, a shame, which would stick with her the rest of her life. She so terribly wanted to be back with her mother and brothers. Sansa just wanted to run away, she had almost begged her father Lord Eddard Stark, The kings hand, to take her home, back to Winterfell. Joffrey was a handsome man, but had a very ugly heart. Sansa Stark looked up at the man she had just married.
